Happy Birthday Justin (in Toronto).
One day belated. (Aug 30)
Okay, now I'm back.
I went to Kyoto and we were stuck in Osaka for a night because of the typhoon. Our bus was canceled. And no JR was running. So we had to stay. At least finding a place to stay wasn't too hard for us since we both used to live there...
In Kyoto, no rain just windy. Though you could see the cloud. Not very friendly one...
But Fall is almost there...
Yum!

My day off. I've been having lots of day offs this past week. Since last Friday... I worked Sat, Sun off, worked Mon, Tue off, worked Wed, Thursday (today) off. Sounds good eh?
But, week of "on and off" I haven't felt so good. I have a stomachache as well.
Today I went to get a haircut. Now my hair is back to straight. Same lengths.
I like my hair straight and dark.
In the late afternoon, Miyuki dropped by. We were talking about our day trip on Monday. We will go to Kyoto. Should be fun. :) We were planning to stay over though since I need to study for my exam and she's looking for a job, we decided to postpone it.
From tomorrow I should be busy at work... weekend would probably be hell.

Year. I have no idea what I would be doing next year. Well, maybe I would be working at same place for a while, though I will lose that job for sure sometime next year. Maybe in March or May... Today I saw my job agent and she asked me to sign another contract. So I said sure. Since I don't have any plan for a while. Oh well, soon I should think about next year... hmmmm
I just missed one of 24 seasons.

Feeling much better and I'm ok now. No yelling for sure. No complains... well, less complains. And sure there's babbling.
Seems like I forgot to tell my friends about my almost accident the other night.
It was 14th or 15th, my parents picked me up at work cuz it was raining. And I took the drivers seat and drove back to home. There's a tunnel on the mountain and I just passed it going downhill. Then I saw a car driving rather slow, unsteady coming uphill. So I slowed down. My parents hadn't seen it at this point. Then! the car just crossed the center line to my lane. Completely. In front of us. Poor my parents. I was honking and yelling at the car. And stopped at the side. So did a cab behind me. But the stupid car just kept going and drove away. Too bad it was too dark and raining, I couldn't see the number plate. We were all ok. Though I could see the car almost hit my car. Just few inches away.
I forgot about this, probably cuz I wasn't too scared. My parents always knew I'm ok driver though now they know maybe I'm better than ok. haha I still suck when I park though.
Soon my friend and I will practice driving. I mean she's gonna practice, I'm just gonna sit beside her. Might be fun...

Oh well, it's been a weird week. I'm not talking about what actually happened. (that way, it's been another quiet week) Talking about my feelings. Most of the time I am sure what I like, what I want, what I need and who I am. But nothing is so sure this past week or so. I've been blue, been edgy and somewhat hyper. I just wanna scream or cry out of the blue. And I'm not even pmsing.

15 years since we met.
I had a dinner with my friend Megu.
We went high school together. Not that we kept in touch all the way till now. We lost in touch after college for more than 5 years. She's the one I don't hesitate to call even if I haven't seen or talked to her for 10 years. We weren't closest in high school, though at the bottom we've bonded pretty strong I guess.

Last Saturday I went for a shopping with my mom. We went back to a store which has Yukata. (japanese summer kimono) I posted many pics of those which I kinda liked. They only had one of them left.
Still quite expensive. It was something like 15,000 yen. And that's 50% off. Maybe next year I will buy or order new one.
I also want to buy Boston.

Maybe I will buy a pair sometime in this year... thinking to go somewhere in Nov, might go back to Canada... or going somewhere else. I think I should wait to buy those. It would be cheaper anywhere I'd go probably...

My uncle showed up at our place out of the blue. I haven't seen him for more than 10 years and pretty sure he hasn't been here for more than 20 years.
This is his GF's dog. We even don't know the name, but we've been dogsitting for few hours now. Very cute and quite nice dog.
He was falling a sleep on my dad's knee.

I'm pretty sure my mom will be cleaning the living room like crazy tomorrow... we're not really use to have dogs in our house since we got this house.

Next month Keiko-san (my French teacher) will have some friends over from Spain, so most of my lessons will be canceled... which is good actually. I will have a big exam in Oct. So I can stay home and study all day. (wow, I'm excited! ha)

I lost all of heavenly Blue seeds. I got blue asagao though not the one.
I wonder my friend J still has those. I gave him a package of seeds when I bought mine. Should ask him... we did plant some flowers for the Earth day few years back. My gardening buddy. :)

Sunday.
I usually work on Sundays. And Sunday for me is very quiet. No traffic on the way to work.
No traffic AT ALL on the way back home.
Only the lunch time I feel like it's Sunday. Some restaurants which has lunch menu would be closed on Sunday and people is everywhere. Today I even didn't go out from my building. So it was very quiet. Too quiet actually. Not much to do. I did my French devoirs.
It must be the turning of the tide, sometime I can smell the ocean when I came out from the building. I like that smell.
Many people are on vacation now... At work I emailed some reports to people who's in different offices. Got some returned mail which said "I'm on vacation."
Vacation... what's vacation??? ha.
One friend already came back from the vacation and working like I am. Off to Hong Kong tonight for the business I guess.
So you guys have any vacation plan this summer?
I've been having visitors from many different part of the world. I wonder people usually have vacation in summer everywhere in this world?

I found it few weeks ago and I've been waiting for them to discount more... so I went back there today, same price. I left without buying anything. I'm pretty good at shopping. Some of my friends know I'm a good shopper. :)

I went out for a cheap dinner with my friend Miyuki tonight.
We usually stay the restaurant for at least few hours. Tonight, I got there around 7 and we left about half past 10. :)
I had fried rice with curry. It was pretty good.
We chatted non stop. So my throat is sore now. Next meeting would be sometime in week after next week.

I'm scared of.
I'm scared of deep waters. Especially those small irrigation ponds with water plants. I'm scared cuz I don't know how deep it is. I dunno why I'm scared of those waters... I'm not a good swimmer though, I can swim. I'm okay swimming in the ocean and I can go to the part which is deeper than my height. Funny isn't it?
Btw, that pond is the one in kinda my neighbourhood. I pass by there every Tuesday when I go to my tutor's. I need to pass by there if I want to short cut. :p

Supposed to be rain today. But look!
My French tutor Keiko-san asked me if I'm 晴れ女. (晴れ hare = sunny, 女 onna= woman)
I don't think I am. But seems like it. Haven't rained on Tuesday since I started taking French lesson at her place. Every Tuesday has been sunny and hot.
And today, the weather forecast said that it would rain. Rain HARD.
Sure there's some clouds. But still very sunny.
I went to see a doctor this morning. He couldn't find anything wrong with my knee or my back. (my back's been sore for a while now as well) He actually said my bones are beautiful. (nice and strong he meant I guess)
I haven't been at his clinic for... 15 years at least if not for 20 years. Everything was same. Even some of the nurses were same. What surprised me most was the doc looked same as when I was a kid. Weird eh?
I got an new cd and books. So I will read and listen later since he won't be in the office. So no chatting tonight. :(
